Advocate employees are paid biweekly. We are open Monday-Friday 8-5pm. We are closed for the 8 holidays! We offer affordable medical Insurance with 2 different plan options! Position Overview

The Training & Auditing Specialist is responsible for carrying out independent appraisals of the effectiveness and adherence to the policies, procedures and standards that have been established and communicated through the ADVOCATE Process Guides.  Auditing is an independent, objective activity designed to add value and improve the organization's operations. It is intended to help ADVOCATE accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness, efficiency, quality and compliance with governmental and industry regulations.

Performance Objectives

  • Audit operational departments
  • Maintaining audit documents of last audit, next audit due, and scores
  • Work with department supervisors and managers on audit feedback and process improvement
  • Develop and maintain Process Documentation.
  • Solicit information from clients and staff to ensure process documentation is meeting their needs.
  • Provide training for clients
  • Special projects/audits as requested
  • Assist in keeping auditing process guide up to date
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of client par lists
  • Create learning material for Advocate staff and clients
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and providing initial Advocate overview training

Experience Requirements

High School Degree, GED or foreign equivalent required; 2+ years medical billing experience; ability to communicate in a clear, professional and timely manner with all staff members; ability to follow through to completion on all assignments; Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Products; Types 30-40 words per minute; ability to work well in a team environment; problem solving skills; ability to follow procedures; Strong listening and verbal communication skills; detailed oriented and organized.
