Advocate employees are paid biweekly. We are open Monday-Friday 8-5pm. We are closed for the 8 holidays! We offer affordable medical Insurance with 2 different plan options! Position Overview

The Charge Entry specialist is responsible for the inputting and verification of data, correction of erroneous data and submission. Also, conducting research missing reports, monitoring AIMS for potential issues and identifying trends in missing data.

Performance Objectives

  • Entry of charges
  • Research of time of service and charge logs
  • Requesting demographics or accessing remote systems for missing reports
  • Monthly manual or electronic charge verification research
  • Research, entry, and mapping of referring physicians
  • Creating and producing monthly invoice accounts
  • Monitoring our AIMS site for potential charge and demographic issues with client

 Experience Requirements

High School Diploma; 1-2 years Medical Billing experience a plus; Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner; Ability to follow through to completion on all assignments; Must possess outstanding organizational skills, ability to stay on task with minimal supervision and to adapt in a constantly changing environment; Ability to work well in a team environment; Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Products; Type 30-40 words per minute; Problem solving skills; Ability to follow procedures; Strong listening and verbal communication skills; Detail-oriented and organized
